- Stop entertaining sexual thoughts in your mind. Don’t get carried away by your thoughts, stop them before they begin to bear bad fruits in your life.
- Choose your entertainment carefully. Stop feeding your thoughts on movies that has lots of sex scene, stop going on the internet to watch pornography, stop reading romantic books with guys abs popping out in front of you.
And stop listening to secular music that degrades women. Definitely stay away from soap operas.
- Read the Bible everyday, Psalm 119: 105 “your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” I urge you to read the Bible on your own, not only to find out what it says about lust; but to keep your focus on Jesus. The Bible has a lot to say on lust and much more… What you feed your mind on constantly that’s who you will become, so feed your mind on Godly things.
In conclusion, you need to completely close that spiritual door and repent for allowing lust into your life. From this perspective, everything has a spiritual influence, and lust is seen as a spirit.

To overcome the spirit of lust, the first step is repentance. After that, spend time in prayer, bind the spirit of lust, and cast it out of your life. When praying against a specific spirit, it’s important to address it directly by name.

Prayer Against the Spirit of Lust
Father, in the name of Jesus, I repent for watching ungodly movies, pornography, masturbation, listening to secular music, and reading romance novels with sexual content. I renounce these unhealthy influences and choose instead to walk in Your righteousness.
Heavenly Father, by faith I am laying aside my old ways, and I ask You, Holy Spirit, to clothe me with Your righteousness according to Isaiah 61:10.
Father, in Isaiah 61:10, You have declared me righteous. Because of that, I declare by faith that I am the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus.
