Trials are what make us stronger.

Let’s face it, we all have gone through trials at least once in our lifetime. Whether someone in your family dies, health issues, financial dilemmas, divorce, persecution you name it. We’ve all been there.

How do you respond to trials when it comes? Are you the type of person that acts out in fits of rage and destroys everything that’s within your reach? Or, are you the type of person who sees the trial as an opportunity for growth and remains calm during the storm? If you are in category A it’s never too late to learn how to be still in challenging times.

How can you be still and have peace when all odds are against you, and it seems like there is no hope?

You can have divine peace by being in the presence of God. Cast all your worries and anxiety on God. 1 Peter 5:7 Tell him all about your troubles, worship and seek His presence daily. When we worship God it shifts the atmosphere around us and opens new doors of possibilities.

In other words, God is moving on our behalf and fighting our battles for us. When you are going through dark times in your life, don’t lose hope of the fact that God is not seeing you. He sees every tear, he knows the pain and hurt you are going through.

Jesus said that he will never leave you nor will he forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:8

That’s a promise he made to all who believe and trust in Him. Know that God is with you in the good times and he’s also with you in the bad times.

Sometimes trials come to change the lifestyle that we are living that doesn’t please God. You see, oftentimes we depend on ourselves and believe that we are self-sufficient and can accomplish anything on our own, not needing any help or guidance along the way.

However, there is a higher power, Mighty and Majestic and he reigns on high, he reigns forever. His name is KING JESUS and he is in control of you and the whole universe. Therefore, never lose sight of the fact that your situation can change in an instant, in the blink of an eye.

If you are a child of God and are going through a dark season in your life, I want to encourage you today to hold on and ride out your storm. Storms only last but for a moment, no situation that you’re in right now will last forever! Your situation has to change.

Weeping may last for the night, but joy comes in the morning. So, hold on and never lose hope. The career that you’ve been longing for, the husband or wife that you’ve been waiting for, and the pregnancy that you’ve longed for will come to pass in Jesus’ Name! For there is nothing impossible with God, God is a God of possibilities.

He turned the sea into dry land, He is a miracle-working God, just put your faith and trust in Him. He will turn your situation around, and bless you abundantly. In Joel 2:25 -27 God says “He will repay for the years the  locust have eaten.

Is there anything that the enemy has stolen from your life? What about your joy, peace of mind, finance, salvation, and health? Come on! What did the enemy steal from you? Take authority and reclaim it back in Jesus’ Name! John 10:10 The enemy comes only to kill, steal and destroy. Jesus said, “but I have come to give life abundantly.”

Therefore, stand firm in the word of God and declare his word and promises over your life today. Reclaim back your Joy, reclaim back your finance, your peace. Everything that the enemy has stolen from you command them back in the name of Jesus.

Whatever it may be that you’re going through today, just wait upon the Lord and he will see you through. Keep on Trusting the Lord and do good, obey God and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Trails come to us only to make us stronger. So, be courageous and fight the good fight because you are more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus.

From Struggles to Victory: 5 Steps to Help You Overcome With God’s Strengths

1. Praise God in the Storm

Worship and praise shift your focus from the problem to God’s greatness. As Paul and Silas praised God in prison, worship can bring peace and open doors for breakthroughs (Acts 16:25-26).

2. Hold Onto God’s Timing

Trust that God’s plans are perfect, even when you don’t see the results immediately. Patience in trials often leads to growth and blessings beyond what you could imagine.

3. Identify the Lessons in the Trial

Reflect on what God might be teaching you. Trials often refine your character, strengthen your faith, and prepare you for greater purposes.

4. Stay Persistent in Prayer

Keep the lines of communication open with God. Persistent prayer not only invites His intervention but also strengthens your relationship with Him (Luke 18:1-8).

5. Guard Your Mind and Heart

Protect yourself from negativity by filling your mind with God’s Word and your heart with His promises. Avoid dwelling on fear or doubt and replace those thoughts with truth from Philippians 4:6-8.

These additional steps further equip you to overcome challenges while deepening your trust in God’s plan for your life.
